Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Our family had several brushes with Santa Claus this year. The first was at the Village of Williamsville tree lighting ceremony on December 2. My friend took this picture of the boys on his lap.

Spencer asked for a bug net that we had seen at the Dollar Store. Marshall asked to go to Eliza's house. He loves to go there to play. I think they will both get their wishes sometime in the next year, but not for Christmas. Sorry, guys! Bug nets are better for the summer, and Eliza has family in town.

The next Santa sighting was at Marshall's preschool on December 22, the last day of preschool for this session. He seemed more excited about the goodies he got in a bag than he was about Santa, but that's OK. I got a cute picture, anyway.

And finally, right before he had to start his big job, on Christmas Eve, Santa drove down our street on top of a fire truck. The kids were thrilled. He also threw out candy canes and toy cars. Thanks to the Getzville Fire Department for driving Santa around!
