The Aquarium and Bowling

I bought a Groupon to join the aquarium for a year for the family. I think I bought it in August and it expired the end of December. So when did we use it? December 31. I don't know why it takes so long to get around to stuff sometimes, but that's how it goes. It was a cute little place. They had a few little shows and some fun exhibits with penguins, seals, and sea lions.

Peter had to work during the day, but was able to leave a little bit early and then we met up with some other families in the ward for bowling. It was fun, although the kids weren't as into it as I thought they would be. There's often just too much going on at a bowling alley and having to wait so long for their turn doesn't work too well for them.

And I didn't get very good pictures - it was dark and I only brought my little camera. But here are a few pictures showing how we brought in the New Year as a family. They had hats and necklaces and noisemakers. It was fun and the kids liked the making noise part of it.

Peter and I brought in the New Year later that night in our jammies watching TV. Ah, the excitement! Happy New Year!
