Day in the sprinklers

Today was a hot one - close to 90 degrees out there. Unfortunately we got a little late start with our pool because the spring was just so darn wet. So I still need to do some vacuuming and cleaning before I really feel comfortable swimming in it. Plus, handling 3 kids in the pool by myself is a little more than I can handle right now. So, since I had some things to wash off with the hose, I decided to make a day of it and let the kids get on their swimsuits and play in the water.

They seemed to have a blast. Hannah was more cooperative than I expected and we were out there for a long time.

I sprayed off the kid picnic table, a toy bin our neighbor gave us, my outdoor flip flops that a bird pooped on, and two 55-gallon water barrels (that I think my neighbors think we are a litle nuts to have). It was a fun day, but I am officially exhausted.

I brought these flowers in from our peony bush. They are pretty for just a short time, I thought we should take advantage of it.
