Spencer graduated from preschool on Friday, June 17. I can't believe that the year is already over and he will be starting kindergarten in the fall. The graduation was really cute - the kids came marching down the aisle in their little caps and gowns. For some reason Spencer covered his ears the whole way.
Maybe we were clapping too loudly, or maybe he wanted to hide, but didn't want to cover his eyes because he had to see where he was going? I'm not sure.
On the stage they sang songs with motions in them. Spencer did a great job. He really seemed to know the words and the actions. It was cute to watch them all together and they were just eating up the attention. Spencer is under the 2nd "1" in this picture.
At the end they were individually recognized with a little blurb about them that I assume they worked on with their teachers. Spencer's was: "The best thing about preschol is going to free play and the hardest was building a tower and it kept falling down. In kindergarten I want to learn about bodies. When I grow up I want to buy a pickup truck and help people move. I want to get married and have one boy and one girl and the rest boys."
He did a great job and we are so proud of him.
Marshall and Hannah weren't so into it. Here are pictures of them at the graduation.
We were glad that Grandma Holmes came, too. It's nice to have her live so close to us.
