Highway Department Open House

The town Highway Department hosted an Open House and car show. I thought the boys would enjoy it so we decided to check it out.  They had about 10 of their big trucks on display - snowplows, garbage trucks, leaf collecting trucks, etc.  They also had a fire truck from one of the local fire companies.  Unfortunately for the boys, that was the only one that you could actually get in. But they had fun.

They also had about 50 vintage cars on display.  My favorite was the loaded Edsel.  It was loaded, huge and bright turquoise. But I didn't get a picture of that one, unfortunately. Here is a picture of the boys in front of a 1922 Model A Ford.  Spencer said that was his favorite.
