Day 5
Day 5's challenge was to take a picture of anything you please. (Actually it looks like every 5th day has that challenge.) That was actually kind of hard for me, since I couldn't decide. So I delayed it a day and cheated a little. Anyway, I finally decided to take it of my jewelry. It's kind of stupid, but I made this from a shadow box and a piece of metal sheeting that I painted white and then stenciled with the same paint that is on our wall. So it's magnetic and I hung up magnetic hoooks. I like it because it's a way to get my jewelry out of a box and maybe have me wear it a little more often, since I hardly ever do. It's worked - I have definitely worn more necklaces lately. But the time factor is still an issue, and the fact that I don't really have reason to dress up or wear jewelry very often.
Day 6
This challenge was to take a picture of something from a low angle. I took a picture of these fake flowers that are on top of our bookshelf in the office. Spencer occasionally likes to decorate the house with them.
Day 7
Take a picture of a silhouette. This is a picture of the Liberty Building in downtown Buffalo. I went on a tour of the city this morning, since Peter took the day off and I would actually have a chance to do it. The tour guide wasn't great - she didn't really seem to know all that much, but she had notes and taught us some stuff. I brought my new zoom lens and took a lot of pictures, so that was fun. I'll include more in a separate post.
