Christmas Morning

Here are some of the highlights of our Christmas morning.

Actually, I'll start with the night before since I took some pictures of the tree and presents when they were all set up.

On Christmas morning, Hannah was the first one awake. We kept her in our room until the boys woke up at 7:30. We let her watch an episode of Dora the Explorer on my iPad. The girl loves Dora! It's so cute to watch how excited she gets. She would point to them an say their names - Dora, Boots, Swiper, Benny, Backpack, and Map.

When the boys woke up we all went down together to check out the stockings.

Hannah seemed to like her new kitchen, too.

After stockings we went to have some breakfast casserole that I had made the night before. Growing up we always had the tradition of getting sugar cereal in our stocking - the only time during the year that we would get sugar cereal. We decided to continue that tradition, but we didn't want to hop the kids up on sugar cereal then take them to church. So we decided to have some real food first, then they could have cereal. But they ended up not having any, anyway.

After breakfast we had opened the rest of the presents. It was fun to see the kids open their presents and get excited about them. The boys had great attitudes and it was a fun morning. After we opened presents we had cinnamon rolls, and then the kids played nicely with thei presents, which was a present for us.

After presents and playtime we went to church, and then headed to Rochester for the rest of the day at my mom's house. Soon after we got there Hannah cuddled up to my mom while she read her a book. Hannah had been asleep in the car, so she was a little out of it, but the pictures turned out so cute. I love Hannah in her piggies and her sweet little face.

I love this picture because of how animatedly Adam is laughing, when Hannah is just sitting there staring in her sweet, stoic little way.

Merry Christmas!
