Let's Go Fly a Kite

Marshall got a kite for his birthday, but it took us a while to actually getting around to using it.  But we decided that it would make a perfect Family Home Evening activity, so we finally broke it out and went to a field behind Maple East elementary school.  We never actually got it to go up too high, but the kids had a really fun time running back and forth and trying to get it to go up.  Peter and I got our exercise in, too.  It wasn't very windy, so you had to really run to get it to go up.  And when you stopped, so did the kite.

Hannah sat in the stroller and then wanted to get down in the grass.  One woman who walked by said she looked like a little flower just growing out of the grass.  That's our pretty Hannah!

But occasionally she did go on the attack!
